Storyline

Autumn grows late and mists shroud the valley - Samhain approaches, the ritual celebration of death and darkness. While the villagers prepare to remember their lost ones and Líadan gets introduced into the circle, the group of women who take part in the rituals led by the witch, ClÍodhna herself suffers from dreams and premonitions of an impending doom. Yet the runes reveal little to her, except that the other witch in the valley seeks her downfall.

But perhaps Fionnula, her predecessor as the witch of the valley, might know about her adversary? Yet Fionnula is long dead, and to speak to her would require a dangerous journey into the otherworld. This is only possible on the day of Samhain, so Clíodhna decided to enlist the help of a reluctant Rórdán - who must face his worst fears, as he needs to confront the spirit of the dreaded Raven-King.

The high resolution version is only available on the DVD edition which also contains subtitle sets in English, French and Finnish as well as out most spectacular outtakes as extras.
