Storyline

High up the snow-covered mountains live the trolls. Usually they're only seen from afar, but when the hunter Bradach finds a mysterious golden ring while being out in the wilderness, strange things start to happen around the village. At first, it's just a pile of firewood that has been overturned, but then mysterious shapes are seen around the village and nightly visits occur and it becomes increasingly clear that the trolls are after something. Angry and frightened, the villagers plan to retaliate. While Clíodhna and Rórdán try to preserve the peace, Bradach is faced with the most difficult choice of his life.

The hunter Bradach finds a mysterious golden ring out in the mountains.

Clíodhna researches old writings to find out more about the trolls.

Angry and frightened villagers gather in the tavern to prepare fighting the trolls.

The high resolution version is only available on the DVD edition which also contains subtitle sets in English, French and Finnish as well as out most spectacular outtakes as extras.
